RIVERSIDE ART MARKET
Saturday, April 10, 2021
First, the Art Alliance and the Riverside Art Museum wish to thank you for your patience and loyalty throughout the last year. Art Market 2020 was to be a spectacular event and we sold out of vendor spaces within a few days.
When we originally postponed Art Market 2020 to September 26 due to the pandemic, we believed we would be safe. However, we heard from the City of Riverside last week that they are unable to move forward with permitting outdoor events until the City and the County move to Stage 4 of reopening from COVID-19 restrictions. This is not anticipated by September. Given this uncertainty, and our desire to properly promote the Art Market well in advance, we have made the difficult decision to forgo our 2020 event and focus our enthusiasm to plan an outstanding Art Market for 2021.
We would like to thank all of our vendors and sponsors for their support throughout all this. If you have not yet received the email/letter we sent out to you with your options, please email or call Kathy Bocian at (951) 206-0928.
Please save the date for Art Market 2021 currently scheduled for Saturday, April 10, 2021. More
ART BARK IN THE PARK
Opening October 4, 2019 at White Park
The Art Alliance of the Riverside Art Museum, who previously brought you Art Float—Riverside (inspired by Portraits of Hope), is proud to present Art Bark in the Park, an homage to man (and woman’s) best friend—the dog!
You won't want to miss seeing the park filled with 150 Art Pups! The two-dimensional metal Art Pups are approximately three feet by four feet and a silhouette of one of the following breeds: Labrador, Scotty, Beagle, Basset Hound, and Husky. AND THEY'LL BE TURNED INTO WORKS OF ART by local artists!
The Art Pups will be unveiled at an Opening Night Gala, on Friday, October 4, 2019. An art event like no other!
All funds raised through Art Bark in the Park will help the Riverside Art Museum as we weave art into our community and instill a love of art throughout our city! #ArtBark More
ART FLOAT - RIVERSIDE
The Riverside Art Museum (RAM), in collaboration with the City of Riverside’s Parks & Recreation Department, and the Riverside Unified School District, will host a signature community art event, called Art Float-Riverside, that will involve over 350 huge, floating, hand-painted spheres in Lake Evans at Fairmount Park. The Art Alliance of the Riverside Art Museum, the fundraising volunteer group of RAM, is spearheading the event, which will take place in May 2018. More
