WOW!  We did it again!! Thank you one and all for all your help, encouragement and enthusiasm for our 6th annual Off the Wall Event!

And a very special THANK YOU to the hard working, diligent, competent Off the Wall committee who made my job so incredibly easy!

We had a Great turnout – 209 artists submitted 900 works of art! And because we limited artists to five submissions this year, it was a totally manageable number.

We sold 205 works!  32 less than last year, which considering the economy we were very happy with.  Seven artists sold all their work.

RAM purchased 10 works for the permanent collection and of course the artists chosen were terrifically excited, pleased and proud to be included in the selection.

Our Off the Wall, Jr. artists had a great time – sold many works and were terrific ambassadors.

It appears that our net income is $16,600, which while less than last year is still a terrific donation to RAM.  Part of the reduction in income may be due to the new $50 category this year – but it was a terrific way to help student artists participate and the comments from attendees indicate that this was a great addition to our event.  A great big thank you should also go out to our sponsors who helped to make this possible!

The committee will meet and discuss the good, the bad, the successes and the misses of our event this year – and make a recommendation to continue or discontinue this event.  Your input is welcome and valuable!  So, please take a moment to jot me a note or leave a message if you have any ideas you’d like us to consider.
