Welcome to the 2011-2012
47th Anniversary year of Art Alliance!

The Membership Committee welcomes all of our Art Alliance members back for a new year! We received dues and information from 137 members and have given the membership list and any changes to the Directory Committee.

We are happy to welcome four new members to the Art Alliance. We will be introducing you to our new members in coming newsletters and hope to attach pictures as soon as we get some taken. Sue P has planned an interesting and informative training session for our new members just prior to the General Meeting on September 15^th so we expect they will all be in attendance. Please take a few minutes to welcome them personally when you see them at the meeting.

Categories of Art Alliance membership
and their requirements are as follows:

ARTICLE II

Membership

There shall be two (2) categories of membership, Active and Supporting:

Active Members
1.	Pay $25 annual dues (RAM Life Members are exempt from paying Art Alliance dues.)
2.	Expected to work actively on fundraisers and special events.
3.	All Members are required to maintain a current RAM membership.
4.	Membership may be granted to any individual who supports the mission and purposes of the organization. Members are encouraged to attend general meetings, Art Alliance events, and RAM events.
5.	Any member who is delinquent in Art Alliance and/or RAM dues may be dropped from membership.
6.	A member may resign by submitting a resignation to the Membership Chair.

Supporting Member
1.	Pays $100 annual dues (RAM Life Members are exempt from paying Art Alliance dues.)
2.	Encouraged to support the fundraisers and special events.
3.	All Members are required to maintain a current RAM membership.
4.	Membership may be granted to any individual who supports the mission and purposes of the organization. Members are encouraged to attend general meetings, Art Alliance events, and RAM events.
5.	Any member who is delinquent in Art Alliance and/or RAM dues may be dropped from membership.
6.	A member may resign by submitting a resignation to the Membership Chair.
