“Canstructing Our Future”

Our design “Canstructing Our Future” is a tribute to the University of California, Riverside (UCR) and the Riverside community’s dedication to furthering higher education, as well as our own desire to further our own education. It is a rendition of the Bell Tower and arches, which are key symbols of UCR along with the mountain in the background. The mountain signifies the University of California and the State’s support of education. In front is an orange, representing the rich history of UCR and Riverside, which were both founded on the citrus economy. The arches display the history of Riverside, beginning with Frank Miller’s Mission Inn.
